Savin is a chartered counselling psychologist registered with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) and BPS (British Psychological Society). She studied psychology at Roehampton University and conducted her doctoral research into the experiences of traumatic events at City University. Savin has over 17 years of experience working within the mental health field and has worked with adolescents, adults, and couples in a variety of mental health settings.
Savin uses a number of therapeutic models to inform her assessment and treatment approach based on the individual’s issues and needs. She works with people that are experiencing a range of difficulties that cause emotional distress and discomfort including (but not limited to): PTSD, depression, anxiety, anger issues, relationship issues and bereavement. She also offers clinical supervision for qualified therapists and therapists in training.
As a counselling psychologist Savin is trained in working with a variety of evidenced-based therapeutic approaches that include cognitive behaviour therapy, solution-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy and person-centred therapy. Savin understands that each person responds differently to their difficulties, so she works collaboratively with clients to find the most appropriate way of working with them.
Savin also offers therapy in Kurdish (Sorani) and Greek.
In addition to being a CBT counsellor in Brentford, Savin is a lecturer in psychology at the University of West London, and also works as a guest lecturer at other universities in her expert field. Savin is a research supervisor, overseeing Ph.D. students who are completing their doctoral research in the field of trauma and mental health.

Rim is a chartered counselling psychologist registered with the BPS (British Psychological Society). Rim has more than 8 years of experience in the field of psychology and has developed a comprehensive knowledge of psychological counselling models. She has had much success in providing support and implementing effective treatment plans for diverse clients with various mental health difficulties. Much of this work has focused on trauma, PTSD, depression and in diffusing stress and anxiety.
As a professional, Rim believes that every client is unique and that treatment needs to reflect this. This ethos is exhibited in Rim’s integrative approach to therapy. As an integrative therapist Rim does not subscribe to any one particular method, dogma or manual of techniques, but instead draws upon different approaches – especially existential, second/third wave-CBT, and psychodynamic therapy.
Rim has a special interest in trauma, anxiety, relationships, depression, sexuality, existential issues, fertility/parenting, loneliness, “midlife crisis” (at any age), relocation, self-esteem and work/careers.
Rim holds a BSc in counselling psychology from Middlesex University and an MSc in health psychology from the University of Westminster. Rim completed her doctoral training at Regent’s University and is a guest lecturer at various universities in her expert field.
Rim is also a fluent Arabic speaker and can offer therapy in Arabic.
